Peter Paul Cetera (born September 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.) is an American singer, songwriter, bass guitar player and producer best known for being an original member of the rock band Chicago, before launching a successful solo career.
You're the Inspiration: A Collection (1997) is largely a compilation of music artist Peter Cetera's duets, though it does feature remakes of the songs "You're the Inspiration," "If You Leave Me Now," and "Baby What a Big Surprise" which he had previously written and recorded with the group Chicago. The songs "Do You Love Me That Much" and "She Doesn't Need Me Anymore" are notable as they are the only new songs written for this album.
